Bugs within the Kitchen may be the twelfth short subject starring American slapstick comedy team the 3 Stooges. The trio designed a total of 190 shorts for Columbia Pictures between 1934 and 1959.

The Stooges are pest exterminators who have to drum up business by planting rodents, moths, and bugs within a naive house underneath the threat to be fired when they cannot. They choose an expensive mansion in which a high society social gathering has been held. After effectively infesting the home with vermin, the trio is predictably hired to wash up their very own mess, without stifling the party, outfitted as visitors.

One highlight may be the piano recital of Johann Strauss It’s “Blue Danube Waltz.” A chorus of felines within the piano responds, bewildering both audience and also the pianist. The chaos is compounded whenever a mouse makes its way into the upright piano, agitating the felines. The Stooges have to obtain the problem pest and also the felines from the piano, wrecking it along the way.
