U.S. President Barack Obama said Sunday that bin Laden was probably “some type” of a support network within Pakistan, but added that investigations would take Pakistan and the United States to find out what is the nature of that support was.
“We thought there had to be some sort of network of support for bin Laden inside Pakistan. But I do not know who or what was this network of support,” said Obama.
“We do not know if there may have been some within the government, people outside the government, and that’s something we have to investigate, and most importantly, the Pakistani government has to investigate,” he said.

ISLAMABAD - Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Monday rejected accusations that the assassination of Osama bin Laden by U.S. troops in the country has demonstrated incompetence or complicity of Pakistan in the underground leader of Al-Qaida.
Opposition politicians have stepped up their criticism of the leaders of Pakistan for the assassination of bin Laden in a raid by U.S. Special Forces in a city in northern Pakistan on May 2.
Pakistan welcomed the death of Bin Laden, who masterminded the September 11, 2001 against the aircraft of the United States as a step in the fight against militancy, but also complained that the attack was a violation of sovereignty.
The fact that Bin Laden was found hiding in the garrison town of Abbottabad, 50 km (30 miles) from the capital, has led to accusations that Pakistani security agencies were incompetent or shelter the world’s most wanted man. However, when it came time to vote, Asia won the hosting rights by seven votes to three. The Pakistan Cricket Board has revealed that it was the vote of the West Indies Cricket Board opened the case, since the Asian supply with the support of the four bidding countries along with South Africa and Zimbabwe.
