Between Showers is a 1914 short film made by Keystone Studios and directed by Henry Lehrman. It starred Charlie Chaplin, Ford Sterling, Emma Bell Clifton, and Chester Conklin.

Chaplin and Sterling play two young men, Masher and Rival Masher, who fight over the chance to help a young woman (Clifton) cross a muddy street. Sterling first sees the woman trying to cross and offers her an umbrella he stole from a policeman, and asked her to wait for him as he goes to get something to help her. The pleasure of a day (1919) is the fourth film by Charlie Chaplin for First National Films. It was created in the study of Chaplin. It was a quickly made two rolls to help fill a void while working on his first film The Kid. This is a day trip with his wife and children and things go wrong. Edna Purviance plays Chaplin’s wife and Jackie Coogan one of the children. The first scene shows the Chaplin studio corner office in the background as Chaplin tries to make his car began. Cruel, Cruel Love is a 1914 American comedy silent film made at the Keystone Studios and starring Charlie Chaplin.

This early Chaplin film has him playing a character quite different from the Tramp for which he would become famous. He is a rich, upper-class gentleman whose romance is endangered when his girlfriend oversees him being embraced by a maid.
